KLM Delft Blue ceramic collector's cottage, number 17, produced by the Dutch distillery Lucas Bols.
The miniature depicts an authentic mid-17th-century townhouse with a stepped gable (Gable style), located at Spieringstraat 1-3 in Gouda, the Netherlands.
As standard, each cottage issued to passengers is factory-filled and sealed with traditional Dutch juniper-flavored gin – Bols Genever. The white sticker visible in the photo ("Empty due to customs regulations on this route") indicates that this particular example was delivered on board a flight to a country with strict customs regulations, restrictions, or a complete ban on the import and consumption of alcohol (most often on routes to the Middle East).
