KLM Bols Miniature House.No18

Collectible ceramic KLM cabin, number 18. This is a replica of the historic Dutch building "Klein Fresenburg" (Little Fresenburg), located at Oude Gracht 111 in Utrecht. The original house was built in 1569 and features unique waterfront cellars.
The inscription "Empty due to Customs regulations on this route" indicates that this particular batch of cabins was delivered empty (without alcohol) due to customs regulations and alcohol import restrictions in the destination country (most often on routes to the Middle East). These cabins are typically filled with Dutch juniper gin (Jenever).
