For sale is a promotional mug issued for IRISHTV. This is a scarce and hard-to-come-by mug.

IRISHTV was a short-lived online broadcasting service aimed primarily at Irish audiences across Ireland, Britain and the United States. Its headquarters were at Westport in County Mayo and had offices in Ireland as well as in the UK and the US. Viewing of Irishtv was through its web channel 'www.irishtv.ie'.

After getting its licence from the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland, Irishtv commenced broadcasting from the 1st May 2014 with programming of a distinctly Irish flavour. Much of its programming was original material featuring local Irish affairs and its two flagship programs, Country Matters and Grass Roots. By 2016, the broadcaster was in financial difficulties from which it went into liquidation and after only a short reprieve it went permanently off-the-air in March 2017.

CONDITION:
Excellent clean unused condition. There is a tiny nibble in the glaze on the handle but this does not detract from its overall appearance.
