For sale is an Irish army cup showing the official Óglaigh na hÉireann crest. The maker’s imprint is on the base and was made by Carrigaline Pottery of Carrigaline in County Cork. This mug was made from vitrified china, earthenware fired at much higher temperatures than standard pottery to give it extra strength and durability.

DESCRIPTION:
Size: about 2 1/2" (64mm) height x 3 1/4" (83mm) O.D. excluding the handle.
Finish: printed in 1 colour onto the glaze.
Material(s): vitrified white earthenware.
Imprint: MADE IN IRELAND BY CARRIGALINE POTTERY VITRIFIED ... (imprint unclear).
Approximate age: 1990s?

Excellent clean condition. No damage.
