For sale is a FAI (Football Association of Ireland) - Eircom ceramic mug with the name "JOHN". This name is not just overprinted, it was screen printed and fired on during the mug's manufacture.

This mug features the old FAI logo which was superseded by the current logo in August 2004.

Eircom was one of the main telecommunications companies operating in Ireland from 1999 to 2015, when it was re-banded as Eir.

DESCRIPTION:
Size: about 3 3/4” high x 2 15/16” O.D. excluding handle (95mm x 75mm).
Material(s): white earthenware.
Finish: screen printed in 4 colours over a dark green vitreous glaze.
Imprint: THREEBEARS @ EIRCOM.NET
Approximate age: c.1999 to c.2004.

CONDITION:
Excellent clean unused condition. No damage. The white mark on the handle is a printing defect - some white screen print got onto the handle during the manufacturing process.
