Fabulous Vintage Retro Mid-Century-Modern Art Glass Hand-Blown Very Tall Cased Red Stem Vase with a Clear Glass Four-Lobed Elephant Foot, and Opaque White Interior, circa 1960, Most Likely Murano or Japanese

I am still sorting through my Art Glass collection and some items will have to go, in my effort to downsize! I'm making progress but more items need to go, in advance of our house move.

I’ve quite a few eclectic items of Art Glass décor including a number of mid-century-modern items, some of which I have on display and some which I am not currently displaying. They still bring me joy, and I probably would use them in future again, but something needs to go!!! Next to go is this really tall vase.

For sale here is a Fabulous Vintage Retro Mid-Century-Modern Art Glass Hand-Blown Very Tall Cased Red Stem Vase with a Clear Glass Four-Lobed Elephant Foot, and Opaque White Interior, circa 1960, Most Likely Murano or Japanese

This beautiful vintage bud vase from the 1960s is a stunning piece of art glass is unmarked/stickered, but most likely Italian/Murano or Japanese.

This lovely example is a whopper in a lovely bright red colourway, which is made more vibrant because the interior is opaque white. The red glass is encased in clear glass and the four-lobed pointy elephant glass base is also clear. This large, weighted base with four lobes gives this very tall vase stability.

The vase is in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks, with a slight manufacturing flaw as photographed. This tall one stands 23.5 inches/60 cm tall. See it compared to other stem vases, to see just how tall it is!

An ideal gift for any collector of art glass, particularly someone who collect Italian MCM Art Glass. This is a fab coloured example and would look wonderful as part of a collection of similar vases in different colours and sizes.
