Fabulous Vintage Arklow Pottery Famel Rose Lidded Tureen/Vegetable Dish in Excellent Condition

Following my house move, I have further items to list as I continue to downsize my collections.
I have quite the selection of individual decorative plates and dishes some of which are Arklow Pottery, which I have collected over the years with the idea of having a mad wall display, but never quite got round to it, and I have too many to display elsewhere.

sale here is a Fabulous Vintage Arklow Pottery Famel Rose Lidded Tureen/Vegetable Dish in Excellent Condition

Famel Rose, pattern number 1073 (early pattern number), is Arklow Pottery’s version of the popular Indian Tree design and is also one of Arklow’s best-selling and collectable patterns which was produced for many years. It was also known under the later pattern number 2429. It was produced with a gilt trim and also with a bright green trim.

The lidded tureen for sale here, has the gilt rather than green trim.

The lidded tureen is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks, very little pattern loss or gilt loss to the rim.
The tureen base has the “Famel Rose” MADE IN THE REPUBLIC OF IRELAND BY ARKLOW POTTERY LTD. Backstamp.

Perfect for the collector of Famel Rose, who may not have a tureen in their collection yet. Perfect starter item for a new collector also.
