Fabulous Small Hand-Thrown Art Pottery Globe Shaped Vase with A Cool Abstract Shaped Cutout For the Top Opening, Hand Made, But Unknown Maker

I am continuing my effort to downsize as unfortunately we will have to move all our belongings into temporary storage due to builders carrying out major remediation works to our brand new home.

I’m trying to minimize the pain by reducing the amount of packing required to be done and reducing the amount of belongings going into storage.

I have a few art-pottery vases that I am willing to sell, in advance of packing up for storage.

For sale here is a Fabulous Small Hand-Thrown Art Pottery Globe Shaped Vase with A Cool Abstract Shaped Cutout For the Top Opening, Hand Made, But Unknown Maker

This is a beautiful and unusual globe shaped posy vase with a fabulous abstract shaped opening for flowers and a mottled patterned salt glaze. It’s wheel-thrown which is obvious from the surface texture. It’s fully glazed on the inside so suitable for holding a small posy of flowers. There are no markings on the base so I cannot identify the potter.

The vase is in excellent condition with no chips cracks or other damage, a perfect cabinet piece. The vase stands approx. 4.5 inches/ 11 cm tall and is similar in diameter.

I have a couple of other art-pottery vases, see the last couple of photos, and I may also sell them as a collection.
