Fabulous Retro Vintage Large Mr. Brannams Celebrated Devon Terracotta Biscuit Holder with Cork Lid in Excellent Condition

I am continuing my effort to downsize, it seems to be never-ending! I have so many ceramic storage jars and containers and utensil holders, more than I can possibly ever need!! I have quite an eclectic selection available including some TG Green Cornishware, Hornsea Saffron, and random other jars.

For Sale here is a Fabulous Retro Vintage Large Mr. Brannams Celebrated Devon Terracotta Biscuit Holder with Cork Lid

This lovely large storage jar by Mr. Brannam’s is in a lovely shade of Pinky/Orangy Terracotta with the usual black printed circular design featuring the Royal Coat or Arms and with the following script:
"By Appointment Pottery Makers to her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother. Mr. Brannam’s Celebrated Devon Terracotta, BISCUITS, The Choice of Housekeepers, Butlers ad Cooks to the Nobility."

It’s for holding biscuits, and can still be used for this purpose as the inside of the jar is glazed and the cork lid still has it’s original rubber seal intact.

Perfect also for storing other items in the kitchen, flour, coffee, teabags, or non-food items etc.

Perfect also for display in the bathroom - think bath salts, Epsom salts etc.

This is a large storage container and it stands about 8 inches/ 20.5 cm tall including the lid, and measures 6.5 inches/ 16.5 cm in diameter at widest point.

The Storage Jar is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks and no pattern loss or fading, as good as the day it was made.

An ideal gift for any collector Mr. Brannam’s Terracotta or Henry Watson’s Revised Suffolk Canister Terracotta, or someone like me who can just never have enough storage containers!!!!
