Fabulous Pair of Milk Glass Side with a Fruity Motif, By Phoenix Glassware, Pennsylvania, USA

My Covid Clearout Continues and now I have some spare milk glass items for sale...

A beautiful pair of milk glass side plates with a fabulous fruity motif on them. The motif features a mix of fruit, berries and foliage, and the plates have a lovely rim of gilt edging.

These are made by the popular Phoenix Glassware. The Phoenix glass company was founded in 1880 in Pennsylvania and Glassware such as lampshades, bottles and vases, milk glass tea and dinner services were produced. These plates are mid-century

The plates measure 6.5 inches/ 16.5 cm in diameter. They have an impressed "Phoenix" stamp on the reverse but this was difficult to photograph!

They are in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. The motifs are in good order and the gilt edging is perfect.
