Fabulous Pair of Mid Century Matching Mouth-Blown Glass Vases In Lime Green with Swirls, Unknown Maker, Possibly Italian/Murano, Japanese or Chinese, Circa 1950
I’m still trying to downsize following our house move to a smaller property. I’ve quite a few eclectic vases which I will have to part with as I have nowhere to display them in my new smaller house unfortunately. They still bring me joy, but are currently boxed away and more stuff still needs to go!!!
For sale here is a Fabulous Pair of Mid Century Matching Mouth-Blown Glass Vases In Lime Green with Swirls, Unknown Maker, Possibly Italian/Murano, Japanese or Chinese, Circa 1950
This pair of glass vases are stunning, in a lovely shade of lime green glass, with swirls of other colours in a random pattern on both, and clear glass feet. The vases are bulbous, above the feet and then taper towards the top with a ruffled mouth.
A beautiful pair of vases and just great to still have a pair and not just a single vase!
Both vases are in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. The stand 8.5 inches/21 cm tall. They have no markings or stickers on them to confirm the maker, but the possibilities are Italian, Murano, Japanese or Chinese. Style-wise, they date to the mid twentieth century.
Perfect for display on a mantlepiece, as part of a symmetric display. Great for anyone collecting mid-century glass, of with a particular interest in green glass. I can’t pass by green glass myself!
Only selling as a pair, as they have spent a lifetime together and it would be a shame to split them up now after about 70+ years.
