Fabulous Pair of Early Vintage Blue and White Arklow Pottery 10 Inch Dinner Plates Unknown Pattern Name, Backstamp Circa 1930/40's
I am continuing my effort to downsize as unfortunately we will have to move all our belongings into temporary storage due to builders carrying out major remediation works to our brand new home.
I still have more Arklow Pottery to downsize as I am concentrating on only collecting a couple of patterns now.
For sale here is a Fabulous Pair of Early Vintage Blue and White Arklow Pottery 10 Inch Dinner Plates Unknown Pattern Name, Backstamp Circa 1930/40’s
These are lovely and I love them, but just can’t keep everything! I came across them when digging out some other plates for a customer, and rather than put them back in storage I can let them go.
Both dinner plates are in very good vintage condition especially given that they are approaching 100 years old, with no chips or cracks or pattern loss.
They are 10 inches in diameter and have a deep enough profile for a dinner plate. The unusual/rare backstamp dates them to late 1930’s early 1940’s, according to the Arklow Pottery Website.
Selling them as a pair for €40, or separately for €25 each.
They would make a lovely addition to anyone’s Arklow Pottery collection or as part of a blue and white display on a rustic kitchen dresser or on a feature wall of plates.
