For sale is a scarce commemorative mug issued by the Killarney gold club for the 1996 CURTIS CUP golfing tournament and which was won by the Ireland/UK team in that year. The mug was produced by Shannonbridge Pottery of County Offaly and displays the coat of arms of the Killarney Golf & Fishing Club who hosted the 1996 Curtis Cup tournament.

The Curtis Cup is an internationally renowned golfing tournament held between the USA and Ireland/UK every two years. This event is open only to amateur lady golfers. The men's equivalent is the Walker Cup, also a biennial tournament between the USA and Ireland/UK.
