Cool Set of Six Vintage Retro Tourist-Ware Souvenir Shot Glasses with London Scenes, Made by Clandril, Circa 1950

I am almost at the end of my effort to downsize, not many items left to list! But I have to clear a cabinet of glassware, so I have some sets of glasses coming up.

Available here is a Cool Set of Six Vintage Retro Tourist-Ware Souvenir Shot Glasses with London Scenes, Mid Century Modern, The Discerning Souviner from the 1950's!!

A Lovely complete set of six London Tourist-ware glasses that have been in my glasses cabinet for many years. I think they were originally presented in a cardboard box in the shape of a London Red Bus. ( see one of the final photos for an online example)

These mid-century gems are very popular as you can see by the online prices on Etsy and Ebay.

Each of the glasses has a different view of London as follows:
Tower Bridge
Trafalgar Square
Piccadilly Circus
Horse Guards Parade
Big Ben & Houses of Parliament
Buckingham Palace

The six shot glasses are in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks and in five out of the six glasses the gilt rim is in good order. The Piccadilly Circus glass is missing most of the gilt rim, it must have been the one that was used!!

They stand 2.5 inches/6cm tall and the diameter is just under 2 inches/5cm.

Lovely set for a home bar or man cave. Perfect items that don’t take up too much space in a glasses cabinet.
