For sale is a nicely made and unusual teaset comprising of a conical shaped teapot with own lid and four cups and saucers. Made for Carrig Donn, a chain of Irish fashion, jewellery and homeware shops across Ireland. Carrig Donn was established in 1965 and is today one of Ireland's premier fashion and lifestyle retailers.

DESCRIPTION:
Size (teapot): about 6 1/2" height including lid x 7" width across the base (165mm x 178mm).
Size (cup): about 2 3/8" height x 3 3/4" across top excluding the handle (60mm x 98mm).
Size (saucer): about 3/4" height x 5 7/8" width across the base (20mm x 150mm).
Material(s): white earthenware.
Finish: two glazes - semi-matt black and thick clear glaze over upper surfaces. Black glaze has a textured effect. Plum design hand-painted in two colours.
Imprint: CARRIG DONN (see photos).
Weight (excluding transit packaging): set about 3.0 kg.

CONDITION:
Excellent unused condition. No damage. Some minor glaze crazing as expected.
