For sale are two finely-made BELLEEK handkerchief vases from the 'Tridacna' range of Belleek parian ware. Both are beautifully decorated with hand-applied flowers and foliage. Finely made with a gloss glaze, both vases are in excellent condition with no damage

Belleek's 'Tridacna' range is characterised by the moulded wavy design and distinct curved fluting. The design of this range of Belleek vases is influenced by the form of the Tridacna species of giant sea-calm shells.

DESCRIPTION:
Size (larger vase): about 4 1/2" height x 5" across at top (114mm x 127mm).
Size (smaller vase): about 3 3/4" height x 4 1/2" across at top (92mm x 115mm)
Material(s): slip-ware parian china clay.
Finish: lustre glaze & hand-applied ornamentation (flowers & foliage).
Imprint: 7th & 9th Belleek backstamp marks.
Approximate ages: 7th mark 1980 to 1993 (smaller vase) & 9th mark 1997 to 2000 (larger vase).

CONDITION:
Both vases in excellent clean condition. No damage. No chips, no cracks.
