Beautiful Vintage Pressed Glass Cake Stand or Fruit Bowl in Frosted Un-Coloured Glass

I am continuing my effort to downsize, following our house move, and it seems to be never-ending! I have opened another box that was in storage, for longer than I am happy to admit, and have found more glassware that I had forgotten that I had. I would love to keep them all, but due to space issues, I really should try and sell some of them.

For sale here is a Beautiful Vintage Pressed Glass Cake Stand or Fruit Bowl in Frosted Un-Coloured Glass

This vintage pressed glass is just lovely. I’m not sure if the original purpose was as a fruit bowl, a cake stand, or as a display bowl for flowers with a water feature.

I’ve used it as a cake stand and an extra fruit bowl when required.

It would be lovely with flowers and floating candles if it was filled with water

This is very similar in style to the Reneé Lalique “Helianthe” bowl, but it’s not an original. It could be a cheaper/more affordable pressed glass example, produced in homage to the real thing.

The bowl stands just over 2 inches/5 cm tall and measures10.5 inches/ 26.5 cm in diameter.

It is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
