Beautiful Set of Three Vintage Graduated Wade Platters in the Meadow Pattern

This is a beautiful full set of three vintage graduated platters by Wade, England, that would grace any dinner table.
The Pattern is called Meadow and features a central motif of meadow flowers, grasses and foliage. The motif is transfer printed in dark brown with the addition of hand-painted elements in red, blue, green and yellow. Surrounding the motif is a ring of geometric pattern in the dark brown transferware, further enhanced by smaller floral motifs around the edges of the platters. The ironstone is a lovely creamy white and the shape features a fluted rippled border beyond the ring of geometric patterning.

The three platters are graduated in size as follows:
Small Platter: 11.5 inches by 9 inches
Medium Platter: 12.25 inches by 9.5 inches
Large Platter: 14 inches by 10.75 inches.

All three platters are in excellent vintage condition for items dating to the 1950's, with no chips, cracks, or pattern loss, and very minimal clean crazing.


These would grace any dinner table, and would also look fabulous on display in a kitchen dresser or hung on a wall.

Very unusual to have all three sizes available as a set, and the price is for all three together.
