Beautiful Masons Patent Ironstone 13 Inch Oblong Serving Platter in the Ashlea Pattern, Post 1950

I am continuing my effort to downsize as unfortunately we will have to move all our belongings into temporary storage due to builders carrying out major remediation works to our brand new home.

I’m trying to minimize the pain by reducing the amount of packing required to be done and reducing the amount of items going into storage.

For sale here an 13 Inch Oblong Serving Platter in the Ashlea Pattern, which dates from Post 1950

This is a beautifully subtle and elegant pattern featuring a tiny repeating Fleur De Lis motif and a decorative Scroll edging. The pattern is burgundy on a cream base.

This oblong platter is in very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks or pattern loss, but there is some age-related crazing which I have tried to photograph. The platter measures 13 inches by 11 inches. The backstamp dates it to circa post 1950.
