Beautiful Cream-Earthenware Clay Teapot with A Pink Floral Motif - Pattern Number 5412, No Backstamp, Most Likely Carrig Ware
A recent house move has forced me into evaluating all the contents of my home and some items will have to go, in my effort to downsize. I'm making progress but more items need to go! I have so many teapots and I cannot keep them all. I have a number of Carrig Ware, Carrigaline, Arklow and other Irish Teapots, and I will only be keeping a few!
For sale here I have a Beautiful Cream-Earthenware Clay Teapot with A Pink Floral Motif – Pattern Number 5412, No Backstamp, Most Likely Carrig Ware
This is a beautiful teapot and although I have only had it on display, it is perfect for use!
The earthenware clay is a lovely deep cream colour and there is a beautiful large pink floral motif on the front and two smaller motifs on the back.
A lovely pot which I have had on display with my other Carrig and Irish Pots. It most likely dates to the 1930’s – 1950’s
It is unmarked on the base, apart from the pattern number, so I cannot definitively say who manufactured it, but it's most likely Carrig Ware, or Irish, anyway. I purchased it with some other Carrig items from a collector.
It is in excellent vintage condition considering its great age, with no chips, cracks or pattern loss. Very little crazing either, it would just benefit from a wash out before use!
I’m selling a number of Carrig Ware teapots, please see the last couple of photos for what I have available. (Some are already sold)
Perfect for a country kitchen dresser or display in a tearooms or café.
