"The distinctive Badger Hill style was the creation of the potter Bill Connors, who returned to Ireland from Spain to set up his furnace in Davidstown circa 1990. When he and his wife Marie decided to move on, the pottery was bought out by Jack O'Patsy, which already had a production line and shop in Youghal. Production ceased circa 20 years ago."
