Art of Chokin Vase
*Beautiful peacock design Art of Chokin Vase.
Very ornate piece.
Small hairline crack in side but not leaking liquid so still suitable for use as a vase.
Would also make a lovely piece for flower arranging💐.
Inscription from bottom of vase...."Metal engravings from Japan are created by the ancient art of Chokin. Gilded with gold and silver, the engravings were originally created to decorate the armament of the Samurai warriors.
Made in Japan.
