Antique One Gallon Stoneware Flagon Jug
Circa 1872- 1922 two-tone salt-glazed stoneware 1 Imperial gallon (Holds approx 5.2 liters) flagon. It features the distinctive stamped maker's mark on the shoulder, 'Midland Pottery Co. Melling Liverpool'.
There is prominent cosmetic crazing in the glaze on the front (as pictured), but these are strictly surface lines in the glaze only and not structural cracks in the pottery body.
