Antique Meissen pink Rose pattern Tea Cup and Saucer
This is a delicious Antique Meissen Pink rose pattern Tea cup and saucer made in Germany.
This set is decorated by the famous "Meissen Rose", one of the most popular decorations from the house of Meissen. The "Meissen Rose" first blossomed in the Biedermeier period and has since become one of the most prominent decors, noble tableware, hand-painted and precisely crafted, has been adorned by the magnificent flowers ever since.
The back is stamped with the Meissen crossed swords trademark stamp. Two grind marks on the sword indicating second quality.
The cup is 3.3/8"(8.5 cm) across plus handle and is 2.1/2"(6.3 cm) high.
The saucer diameter is 5.1/2"(14 cm).
They are in very good vintage condition. Small chip on the saucer(Please see photos).
