Authentic Japanese Imari (Arita-yaki) porcelain bowl, hand-painted in the traditional "Iro-e" style.

This piece was purchased in May 2018 at the renowned Kotoshina boutique in the BAL Building, Kyoto, Japan. I have the original Japanese export tax-free receipts which will be included with the sale to provide 100% proof of origin and authenticity.

Era: Late 19th Century (Meiji Period).

Design: Intricate "Peony and Clouds" motif (Botan to Kumo). The peony represents prosperity and honor.

Markings: Features the classic blue "Fuku" (Good Fortune) mark on the base.

Exterior: Decorated with the traditional "Karakusa" (everlasting vine) pattern in cobalt blue.

Size: Large 18.5 cm diameter.

Weight: Substantial 640g.

Condition: Excellent antique condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs. The gold gilt and enamels remain vibrant
