Antique French Madonna Statue
This is likely an antique French Vieux Paris porcelain statue of the virgin Mary holding child Christ, potentially dating from the 19th century. Water basin featured underneath Mary. 24 cm tall, 10 cm wide, approx 8 cm deep at deepest point.
Presume statue is made out of porcelain and ceramic
It features hand-painted details in pink and brown with some gold highlights which show some minor wear, as the hair of Jesus does on back side.
Statue has just the letter "R" as marking underneath.
Must be very rare, couldnt find any identical one online worldwide, highlight for any enthusiast.
