AK Keramik West German Vase
Beautiful brown hued AK Keramik West German pottery amphora vase with hints of scarlet and turquoise to front and back.
The stylised handles have a grape style motif where they attach to the body at the bottom. The diagonal curved detail to the body gives is a shell like appearance.

‘The AK Keramik factory was founded by Alfred Klein in 1934. Its production consisted of coffee and tea pots, pitchers, jars and vases. In the 1930's and 1940's the output sported the highly recognisable 'Laufglasuren'; fluent glazes often with predominantly mint green and brown hues with highlights of red and orange.
Shapes and décors were adapted to changing taste post-WWII.’
