A set of blue and white transfer-printed earthenware tableware produced by Johnson Brothers in the Blue Bird pattern. The decoration features a central floral spray and a border comprised of geometric lace-like patterns, floral swags, and small birds on branches. Many vessels feature a molded swirled or fluted body. The set includes two oval serving platters, one large round serving bowl, one sauce or gravy boat, one open two-handled sugar bowl, several cream soup bowls with matching saucers, multiple teacups and saucers, and a group of bread and butter or salad plates.
