52cms Vintage Lotus Flower floor vase
Here is a fabulous 52cms handpainted lotus flower vase in the Chinoiserie style.It is a heavy Stoneware vase, probably dating from the early 20th century.The colour combinations are quite rare is a vase of this size...Cobalt blue for the stems,along with yellows,greens cream,sky blue..all over a brown wash glaze.All of the flowers,foliage and stems have been carved pre firing..To bring realism,form and texture to the piece.The vase is in lovely condition..no chips,cracks or repairs..It has two wet ink markings on the base,along with the letter z inscribed in to the base.There is very light crazing in parts..(provenance of age)..The vase is approximately 30cms at it's widest point.Safe registered postage available for an additional five euro.Thanks for looking please check out my other ads.
