20 piece Arklow Pottery Willow Pattern Teaset
The pieces were produced during the 1960’s and 1970’s .most have the same backstamp. Two pieces have a different Arklow pottery backstamp. The pieces are in very good condition the gold trim is excellent and there only seems to be clear crazing on the milk jug. Arklow pottery tends to suffer from crazing with heat variations such as hot water. The fact that the gilt is so good and little crazing suggests that this set was kept in a cabinet. There is a tiny nibble on the guilt edge of one of the plates. The colour is a consistent dark blue throughout the pieces and the pattern is clear .
