2 Mikasa Art Glass Tulip Pattern Plates
Mikasa is an American based company that imported quality items from Europe. These 2 plates date from the 1940's to 1950's. Both these plates are two toned one light lilac the other cherry red.The pattern is known as satin Tulip with an open Tulip in the centre of the dish and tulip shapes around the edges, there are minor scratches on the lilac dish, although not very noticeable. The design of the plates is very stylish and they are rare enough.
