18th century creamware gravy boat

18th century creamware gravy boat 18th century creamware gravy boat Ceramics

Here is a beautiful 18th century cream ware gravy boat.It would date from circa 1760;to 1780.Cream ware was the predecessor to bone china and went out of fashion when that process was discovered. The vase is in nice condition for it's age..the handle has been off at one point in it's life and it does have some hairline cracks..The price reflects this..The spout, feet and rest of the body and very clean. The simple floral pattern and overall design are very much in keeping with 18th century cream ware. The piece is four inches tall including the handle and 6.5 inches wide..Safe postage available at buyer's cost. Thanks for looking, please check out my other ads.
