Vintage Carl Fagerlund chandelier by Orrefors

Striking Art Deco style chandelier made by Orrefors from Sweden. Made in the 70's this beautiful chandelier was originally designed by Carl Fagerlund in the original Art Deco period (1930's). It has three heavy frosted glass leaves fitted on to a chrome frame.

The chrome frame in a sunburst shape has 3 arms of rectangular section, each of which curves upwards to complete the leaf design. The removable glass shades attach by two decorative screws internally to the arm. The 3 lamp holders sit on the arms facing upwards and have decorative cylindrical shape tube covers.

Each sculptural clear glass shade is shaped with a texture pattern as a leaf and has a curved base which rests inset on the arm giving this piece depth & volume. The 3 glass shades have an external gloss finish and internally there is a layer of sparkling specks of crystal shards creating depth and great reflections.

In great condition with some minor signs of wear.

Glass leaves will be dismantled for safe shipping and will need to be assembled again. Or can be collected assembled. Weighs 4.8 KG.
