Antique Brass Veritas Converted Parafin Floor Lamp

A beautiful and very unusual antique brass Veritas paraffin lamp, professionally converted into a floor lamp.

This is a genuine period lamp with a substantial brass & copper body, original Veritas burner/font and detailed burner assembly.

The lamp has a fantastic aged patina which I have left rather than over-polishing it.

It has been converted for safe everyday electrical use and is fitted with:

• New braided fabric electrical cable
• Modern lamp holder
• UK/Irish 3-pin plug
• Large quality fabric shade
• LED Edison-style bulb included
• Working and ready to use

The original Veritas markings and components remain, making this a particularly interesting piece for anyone who appreciates antique lighting, vintage interiors or industrial/period furniture.

It is a very substantial floor lamp and looks fantastic when lit.

There are marks, age-related wear and patina commensurate with its age, which I feel add to its character. Please study the photographs carefully.
