When Prokoviev premiered "Peter and the Wolf" in 1936 he can scarcely have foreseen quite how successful his playful classic would become or how consistently it would delight children of all ages for years to come.

Now in a remarkable publishing venture, Bono and his childhood friend Gavin Friday of the Virgin Prunes have collaborated to produce an irresistible and enchanting version of the classic story in book form and enhanced CD.

The beautifully produced hardback story book contains 64 pages of Bono's original paintings - with help from his daughters Jordan and Eve - to illustrate the story.

And the enhanced CD gives a totally fresh, funny and original rendition of the classic musical store, narrated in a sly and hilarious reading by Gavin Friday.
