For sale is a rare and highly collectible Swiss made Nivada Ultramatic 36000 (Reference 57083) from the 1970s.

This watch features a stunning, exotic gold/brown "starburst" textured dial that looks incredible in natural light. It is powered by a high-frequency Hi-Beat automatic movement (36,000 vibrations per hour), which gives the second hand an incredibly smooth, sweeping motion.

Condition: Excellent working order. The watch has just been fully serviced by a professional watchmaker. All functions, including the date quickset at 6 o'clock, work perfectly. It keeps accurate time.

Case: Solid stainless steel with hidden lugs, classic 70s retro shape. Authentic vintage condition with a beautiful natural patina and minor surface scratches on the crystal (all original).

Caseback: Features the iconic Nivada Penguin logo and serial number 57083.

Strap: Comes on a black leather strap.

Crystal: Original acrylic crystal. It has a minor surface scuff/scratch near the top, which is typical for its age and can be easily polished out with Polywatch if desired. I preferred to keep it in its fully authentic vintage state.
