Up for sale is a rare, early-generation Mondaine Official Swiss Railways Classic Wristwatch (Reference M7606.209) in very good vintage condition.
Diameter 33mm excluding crown.

Dating back to the late 1980s / early 1990s, this timepiece is a dream for design purists. It features the highly desirable "sterile" dial layout with no modern commercial Mondaine text below the 12 o’clock position. Instead, it sports only the official SBB CFF FFS Swiss Federal Railways emblem, making it a perfect 1:1 scale representation of the famous Hans Hilfiker platform clocks.
The watch comes mounted on its classic, comfortable stainless steel expandable ladder-style bracelet, which perfectly complements its mid-century Bauhaus aesthetic.
