Edox was founded in 1884 by Christian Ruefli‑Flury, and to this day remains a family‑owned, independent Swiss watch company. During the 1970s Quartz Crisis, Edox was briefly part of ASUAG/General Watch Company, but in 1983 it was purchased by Victor Strambini, restored to independence, and is not affiliated with larger watch conglomerates like the Swatch Group or LVMH.

Edox holds an unbroken world record for producing the world’s slimmest calendar watch: the Les Bémonts Ultra Slim collection. Its movement measured just 1.4 mm in thickness, and remains unmatched to this day.

The company has sponsored the Class-1 Powerboat World Championship, the Extreme Sailing Series, the Dakar Rally, and currently serves as the official sponsor and timekeeper of the World Rally Championship (WRC).

Watch is powered by the legendary ETA Valjoux 7750 Chronograph Movement, well-known in the world of watchmaking for being tough, reliable, versatile, accurate and long-lasting.

And just to be fully clear: I’m not looking for swaps or part exchanges. I prefer straight cash sales only.

All my watches are graded using my standardised condition scale:

N (New) — unworn condition. Typically includes full set (box, papers, tags).

S (Like New) — almost indistinguishable from new. No noticeable scratches or marks. Crystal and case flawless.

A (Excellent) — Lightly worn with minimal signs of use. Minor hairline scratches visible only on close inspection.

V (Very good) — Gently used with only minor signs of use; the crystal may carry minor traces consistent with normal wear, but they do not stand out. Overall condition remains clean and attractive.

B (Good) — Regularly worn with moderate signs of use. Noticeable scratches on case or bracelet; crystal may have faint marks but remains in good condition.

C (Fair) — Clearly worn with pronounced scratches, dings, or crystal marks. Functional but cosmetic wear is obvious; may benefit from servicing.
