Kia Ceed Commercial

Commercial kia ceed, engine went on 21st September due to an oil pump issue. It's a cheap car for anyone with an engine D4FE that wishes to fix it themselves. It only recently passed the DOE and was driving perfectly. The oil pump/filter went without any warning and caused the engine to seize (this is what I was told as not a mechanic)

Has Tax and DOE until 2027.

I have located an engine for €1200 with low miles if needed. At the moment I don't have the funds to replace it and my mechanic recommended I just replace the whole engine rather than strip it. If you're a mechanic you might do it cheaper than engine replacement.

Car is at a garage in Ballymount currently and I'm happy to show it to anyone who is genuinely interested.

The same engine 1.6l Diesel is in many Hyundai and Kia models and are easy to come by a used one.
