2006 Volkswagen Passat
Car has been sitting idle since Aug 2025, I went through the NCT centre 2 times, got everything that needed a fix done, yet the car failed NCT only due to exhaust smoke, the mechanic said nothing was wrong and it should have passed NCT, and I wasn't driving it enough or took it to NCT without much driving.
The battery was also replaced with a new one, but sitting idle since august 2025. Tyres are also good enough to pass NCT, spare tyres, and tyre kit is also there.

There is only one key, and the car is locked now, and I can't open it since the battery died, and the mechanical key won't work. Either need to be towed or would need a mechanic to open as the door is jammed.
Maybe it just needs a good service and a good long drive to pass the NCT. Car used to drive smooth, plus has Bluetooth installed for calls
Heating seats, AC all working. Body normal age related marks. And inside as it would with a car from 2006.
Logbook is also available.
Service is due.
Tax expired.
