Volkswagen Golf GTD 2.0 TDI – 2013 – 219,000 KM
Selling my 2013 Volkswagen Golf GTD 2.0 Litre Diesel with 219,000 KM.
The car drives very well and has excellent power and speed for a 2.0 diesel. It has been regularly serviced since I purchased it and has had a lot of major work carried out over the last while, so a lot of the expensive jobs have already been taken care of.
NCT is due on the 8th of October. I’m willing to sell the car for €7,000 without an NCT or €7,500 with a passed NCT. I’m very confident the car will pass, but as anyone who has put a car through an NCT knows, they can sometimes be awkward and you never know what they’ll pick up on the day.
Major work carried out:
• Custom Pipe Dynamics stainless steel twin-bore exhaust – €470 part
• Oil sump replaced
• Crankshaft Seal replaced
• Timing belt and water pump replaced at 170,000 KM
• EGR cooler replaced
• Garrett turbocharger replaced at 200,000 KM – approximately €750 part
• Flywheel and clutch replaced at 210,000 KM
• Both front ball joints replaced at 210,000 KM
• DPF cleaned at 210,000 KM
• Alternator pulley replaced
• All tyres have near-new tread
• Serviced regularly since purchase
The car is not perfect cosmetically and does have some rust spots around the wheel arches and underneath one of the doors, which can be seen in the photos. I'm being upfront about this rather than hiding it.
Mechanically, the car runs very well and pulls strongly. A lot of money has been spent on maintaining it and replacing major components, including the turbo, clutch/flywheel, timing belt and water pump, EGR cooler and DPF work.
€7,000 as it stands / €7,500 with a passed NCT.
