Cheap & cheerful Golf Mk 6 here. 1.4 non TSI, 80bhp. Mechanically fine, serviced in Feb 2026 with new tired put on in late 2025. The timing belt was done at 140k kms.
A few thing worth noting as per the low price:
-drivers side window stopped working
-rear pads need to be done, can squeak
-one key
I bought a new car so need this gone. I replaced the rear wiper arm, bought a spare wheel/space saver & cleaned/sprayed the body since I got it. I also replaced the drivers side window switch but it didn't fix it. It's an Irish car, non import & has a Cartell.ie printout. A decent offer will be accepted, a ridiculous one will not! Please see my feedback for buying piece of mind, thanks.
