selling my lovely low mileage 2009 VW Golf 1.4 tsi 160bhp 6 speed manual highest irish spec
only letting it go because am after getting a new car and can’t keep both, I’ve poured a ton of money and effort into it fully loaded Highline model with the Alcantara sport seats, a classic sunroof (which I got professionally tinted), and the awesome 6-speed manual.
Fuel consumption: u can easily do 40+ mpg🙂
Now a ton of work has been done on the car never remapped and fully stock some of the work is as follows:
New timing chain this is a big expensive job and a known weak spot on these engines.
All pulleys, belts, and the water pump have been replaced
I’ve also been super careful with oil changes, using factory grade oil and doing them way ahead of schedule 5k miles. recent service was 4 months ago with

sports spark plugs
sports ignition coils
brembo brake disc all four replaced
brake pads all four replaced
Supercharger wiring replaced
coolant seals
turbo seals
Sunroof seal
Headliner repair
four brand new tyres that cost me nearly 500 quid
Upgraded sweet 18-inch wheels
AC works perfectly and blows ice cold
Unique reg plate number
And many more.
car drives like a dream and pulls like a train.
Only bad point : The paint on the hood and some other part of the car is peeling a bit It was like that when I got it 4 years ago and it never bothered me tbf.
