New bits changed within the last year -
Passenger side window regulator, aluminium sump, spark plugs, rear window wiper motor, front pads, two new wishbones with rearmost bushings replaced, subframe partially replaced, rear trailing arm bushings, timing belt, water pump (with CM Autos, think I have receipt there), rear left wheel speed sensor, new tail lights, freshly polished headlights
Serviced on time every 10,000 kms by myself (oil, oil filter, air filter, cabin filter) service due in 4,000 km.
The bad bits -
Car has some age related marks and scuffs, Laquer peel as per usual on old red cars. Leaking oil from somewhere haven’t looked into it. Suspected clutch release bearing on the way out. Coolant seeping from expansion tank. Headliner starting to go at the front, trip display fades partially when the car warms up (both pretty usual golf issues)
Car will come washed and valeted before sale. Good run around or starter car for someone, can be tidied up and driven for the coming years hasn’t caused any issues for the last few NCTs. Any inspections welcome, sold as seen. Car is in Clondalkin. €1,600 Open to offers no dreamers please 🙏
