Selling my 2012 Volkswagen Passat CC 2.0 TDI 103kW (140hp). I have owned the car for the last 4 years, and throughout my ownership it has always been properly maintained and serviced on time.
The car has had a full service every 8,000 km, regardless of whether it was strictly necessary. A lot of money and care has been invested into keeping it mechanically reliable.
Recent maintenance and repairs:
New high-pressure fuel pump (HPFP) fitted this spring
New fuel tank pump
2 new injectors fitted this year
Another 2 injectors replaced approximately 3 years ago
Timing belt and water pump replaced
All of the above work is fully documented
Approximately €2,500 invested this year alone
All receipts are available, including parts, prices and work carried out
The car was also checked this year and is in very good mechanical condition. It currently does not require any major mechanical investment and has been extremely well looked after during my ownership.
The car also had a full de-chrome done this summer, giving it a cleaner and more modern appearance.
For a 2012 car, it is in excellent overall condition. The interior could do with a small clean/detail, and the car will need a wheel alignment, but mechanically the car is in excellent condition.
I have genuinely spent a lot of money maintaining this car, and it is not an easy sale. It is only being sold because I now have another car, so there is no longer a need for it.
I have all receipts and records for the work carried out, so everything can be checked and verified.
If you want to have the car mechanically inspected before buying, no problem at all. You are welcome to bring your own mechanic and have the car checked properly. I have nothing to hide.
