**Opel Astra Coupe – €900 ONO – Quick Sale**
Selling my daughter’s Opel Astra as she is no longer living in Ireland full-time, so the car is simply not being used or needed.
The car has been sitting off the road, but has been **started and driven in and out of the driveway regularly to keep the engine running**, and a **new battery has recently been fitted**.
The car **recently went through the NCT and failed on brake-related items**. The NCT report is available to the buyer and the car is being sold **as seen and priced accordingly**. The work is mainly around the brakes/handbrake and should make this a good option for someone who is mechanically minded, knows a mechanic, or is looking for a small project.
**NCT fail items include:**
* Handbrake travel
* Spongy brake pedal
* Worn rear brake components
* Nearside front brake/wheel unit operating sluggishly
* Brake re-test required
The other NCT checks, including **suspension, alignment, emissions and lights, were passed**.
