Nissan Qashqai 2016
I'm selling this 2016 Nissan Qashqai with a manual transmission. It's a 1.5 DCI ACENTA PREMIUM 110PS 5DR model, with a nice trim, in very good condition, and low mileage for the year (156k). It has been recently professionally detailed.
It's got a panoramic sunroof, parking cameras and sensors. This model is quite well regarded in terms of fuel efficiency, and being in a relatively low tax band compared to other SUVs (this one runs on diesel). It's got airbags, dual climate control (front and back), and a Sat-nav built into the infotainment system, bluetooth, central locking, keyless entry, auto-wipers and lots more that I can't remember.
There is some light cosmetic bumper rash on the front left side of the front bumper, which is visible if you go looking for it, but not noticeable otherwise.
I ran a full background check on Carcheck.ie and it came back clean, so it doesn't have a sketchy past. I can send the screenshots of that report upon request.
I am the executor of the will, and am selling it as part of settling my father's estate. He took good care of the car, but didn't get to use it much in recent years due to ill-health, hence the low mileage and good condition. He let the NCT and tax lapse in the past year when he went into a nursing home and could no longer drive. I have put a brand new battery in it, as the old one hadn't seen much use in the last year.
Selling it as the executor doesn't change the buying process much, I just have to include a letter as the executor stating that you now own the car, and you include that with the normal paperwork (the VRC) that you send in when transferring ownership.
The car costs €180 per year to tax, so it would cost €360 to bring it up to date. It would cost €60 to get it NCT'd. It's a really nice car, it runs perfectly fine, and looks great. It just needs a new home with someone who will actually use it.
I've listed it at it's current price taking into account all of the mitigating factors of the sale.
