Update 27/07/26

I gave up on the 'whizzy' brake servos which began to act up intermittently and I got the Motorworks kit to delete and remove the ABS system.

All three calipers are fully serviced and have new pads. The brakes are back in consistent business and I feel much happier it's for sale without any doubts now about brakes.

Also got the valve clearances checked and adjusted, we're all good.

Looking to buy a GT so I've reduced the price to entice. Be a great bike for someone.

Will get more photos next the sun shines. Bike looks class all waxed up.


Update 23/06/26:

re the BMW Genuine brake service kit service - the new OEM BMW seals were installed - the original pistons were good.

Brand New Brembo front brake pads Carbon Ceramic 07BB2607

Brand New Rear pads are EBC Organic FA363

Rear brake service : new seals and service just done. Pistons good.


Update 02/06/26 :

ABS works now front and rear. These are extremely effective brakes.

Bike returns 70.4MPG on a smooth motorway run. Usually around 62mpg on regular town to town riding. Very smooth machine.

Genuine BMW Top Box now included with sale.

Lovely original paint - looks so well from being in a garage for 10 years before I bought it; About 4500 miles done by the previous owner since the recommission work was done and all good.


New fuel pump, Brake Discs, Full Service (New coils, spark plugs).

Still beautiful switchgear.

Heated grips and seats.

No radio.


Original BMW Panniers in great condition -

The Top box is now included in the sale also. Very good condition.

Tyres good ; About 4500 easy miles on Michelin Pilot Road 5

Final Drive full service (fluid and lube) about 1700 miles ago.

Engine Oil and Filter (HF163 - the bigger one) just done, Air Filter also changed same time as final drive service. as was Gearbox Oil change - 75w90 LUCAS SYNTHETIC SAE 75W90 GEAR OIL TRANSMISSION OR DIFF OIL EXCEEDS API GL5 SPEC : 180ml fill as per the upgraded BMW spec.


Terrific responsive bike to ride.
Really well balanced and goes great slow and mind the speed it's deceptively quick.

Priced to reflect the very good condition of the paint and the work that has gone into its prep.

The bike is dry stored nightly on an optimate, well looked after and petted like a horse basically.
