2004 Mercedes Benz SL – Same Family From New

Very well cared for 2004 Mercedes-Benz SL, owned within the same family since new.

The logbook shows 4 registered owners, however the car has never actually left our family. The registered ownership changed between family members at various points when the car was temporarily off the road, but it has remained in the same family since it was bought new in 2004.

The car has been serviced every year, garaged throughout its life and has never been smoked in. It has been very well cared for and drives beautifully.

The electric folding hardtop is fully working, opening and closing as it should.

It has been a much loved family car rather than a car that has passed through numerous unrelated owners, so its history has been known to us from day one.

Overall it is in very good condition for a 22 year old SL. There are some cosmetic imperfections, including a scratch along the side and the front lower lip requiring some attention. These have been taken into account in the asking price.

The car is currently out of NCT and tax, having been off the road since late 2025.

Aside from the cosmetic items mentioned above, it is a lovely example and performs extremely well. With its folding hardtop and classic SL styling, it is still a fantastic car to drive and is becoming an increasingly interesting modern classic.
