1998 Mazda MX-5 (Mk1) – Ideal Summer Project / Weekend Car
Reluctant sale of my 1998 Mazda MX-5. I’ve owned and loved this car, but with two kids and limited time, it’s just sitting up and not getting the use it deserves.
This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking for a solid MX-5 to enjoy over the summer with a small bit of TLC.
The good:
Solid car – no rust (hard to find on these)
Engine and gearbox are spot on
Drives exactly as an MX-5 should
Clean and original overall
Classic convertible – unreal on a sunny day
What it needs:
NCT
Tax
Has been sitting, so could do with a good wash, a proper run, and a general once-over
Nothing major – just hasn’t been used enough.
Why selling: No time to enjoy it. It deserves to be out on the road, especially coming into the summer.
